Action Against Nuisance Neighbors - Starkville Aldermen

STARKVILLE — The Board of Aldermen will hold the first of two public hearings on a proposed chronic nuisance property ordinance, the presiding officer said at an Aug. 29 work session.
She said she had asked that the ordinance include a provision making it effective immediately upon unanimous adoption. "I have asked that it become one of those ordinances that with a unanimous adoption becomes effective immediately," she told the board. A second hearing and possible adoption is set for Sept. 15.
