TUPELO — Internet use-tax collections in Tupelo are up roughly $600,000 this year, Mayor Todd Jordan told the city council at its July 21 meeting.
Jordan also told the council that sales tax revenue remains strong. “Our sales tax is still good. It’s about 7%,” he said.
The mayor reported that a curb-and-gutter drainage project on Barnes Crossing was completed “about $400,000 under budget.” He said project details would be brought before the council again at its next meeting.
