Bank branded football stadium for University of Southern Miss

JACKSON — The Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning Board of Trustees approved a facility naming agreement Thursday allowing the University of Southern Mississippi to rename its football stadium from M.M. Roberts Stadium to a bank-branded name.
An IHL staff presenter told the board the arrangement will pay USM naming rights fees "totaling 13.7 million over an approximate 10-year term."
The agreement can be terminated for breach. Board staff said an independent valuation found the terms in line with comparable deals at peer institutions
